The cultural clash between traditional-orthodox-India and modern-urban-India. The collision of two cultures creates havoc in the beginning but finds a peaceful co-existence, at the end. An orthodox boy from the holy city of Banaras, is forced to stay with a chorus dancer in Bombay... The film does the journey of these two opposite personalities and how, after the initial phase of rejection, they find each others place in their respective lives.

Obsessed with day-time TV soaps, Ekta Santoshi starts suspecting her husband, Gopal, of having an affair with an unknown woman. Not satisfied with his explanations, she decides to investigate, setting off a chain of hilarious events. These involve her dumb brother/hair-stylist, Lucky; her sister-in-law, Esha, who loves ACP Madhav Singh Ghai; two individuals both named Anthony Gonsalves; amongst many others that result in a hapless Gopal's arrest for the homicide of his co-worker, Subodh Mehra.

Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge? is the story of Puneet and Munmun, a happily married couple living in Mumbai whose lives take an interesting turn when a distant relative, Chachaji turns up unannounced at their doorstep from a far off village. The guest overstays his welcome so much so that the exasperated couple come up with various ploys to hasten his departure to hilarious results.

Four slackers and con-men namely: Boman Contractor, who lives a wealthy lifestyle with his eccentric dad, Nari, who loves his antique car more than his son, and asks his son to leave when he damages the car; hot-headed Aditya and dim-witted Manav, orphaned brothers; and Deshbandhu Roy, a trickster who wears a magnetized belt; share a room with a lenient landlady, who eventually gives up on them and kicks them out. After a number of con tricks, the group are arrested by the Police, but released in the countryside. At this point they witness a car plummet down a cliff, with it's sole occupant, Bose, an underworld don, who, before dying, tells them that he has hidden 10 Crore Rupees in cash in the St. Sebastian's Garden, Goa, and if they find it, it is their's to keep. The group race toward Goa in Contractor's stolen car, little knowing that their plans will soon be foiled...

Mumbai-based Ramvilas Sharma has just broken-up with Sanjana Mahadik, a former bar dancer, with whom he had a six month relationship. His private-detective friend, Nandan Pandey, attempts to counsel him over this break-up, and even encourages him to meet other women. Ramvilas does meet with a homeless woman, Koel Datta, befriends her, and even brings her to spend the night in his flat but will be interrupted when Sanjana will come to take her belongings back and will leave a bag full of cash. Everyone will find their respective lives turned upside when they will be 'interrogated' by a suave French-speaking crook, Lucky Sardana, after the bag goes missing.

Phase Gaye Re Obama is a comedy set against the backdrop of global recession/meltdown that originated in USA. The film traces the journey of OM Shashtri, an American citizen of Indian origin, who loses all his wealth overnight to the global recession & has been asked to vacate his home by the bank unless he pays up $100,000 (mortgaged amount) within 30 days. Seeing no other option Om comes to India to sell a small piece of an ancestral property. But within days of landing in India he is kidnapped by a 'recession-hit' underworld gang those who think that he is still a millionaire. What happens to Om, is he able to save his home, how did the 'poor' gangster cope with their 'poor' catch & what do small town Indian gangsters have to say to President Obama...is largely forms the rest of the story. The film, showcases how global recession/ meltdown impacted...
