Storyline:
During the Cold War, Soviet agents watch Professor Henry Jones when a young man brings him a coded message from an aged, demented colleague, Henry Oxley. Led by the brilliant Irina Spalko, the Soviets tail Jones and the young man, Mutt, to Peru. With Oxley's code, they find a legendary skull made of a single piece of quartz. If Jones can deliver the skull to its rightful place, all may be well; but if Irina takes it to its origin, she'll gain powers that could endanger the West. Aging professor and young buck join forces with a woman from Jones's past to face the dangers of the jungle, Russia, and the supernatural.

Um ok-- comparing Indiana Jones to Die Hard is a big no no. Harrison Ford is, sorry to say cause I like Bruce Willis... is a much better actor...and a very, VERY successful one at that. All the previous Indy movies have been totally awesome, so there is no doubt the new one should not be as well.
Harrison Ford looks wonderful for an older Indiana Jones, yet he still whips it good with his whip, and does quite a lot of hardcore action. I for one can't wait to see him again as everyone's favorite hero--face it- Indiana Jones is even bigger then Star Wars in a way. Despite the fact Harrison was in those movies.
It's gonna be pumped full of action, fun especially with Karen Allen (Raiders of the Lost Arc) back in Indy's life! Steven Spielberg has never let us down with any movies, so it is kind of pointless and silly to even think he'd make a bad movie. Go see Indy- It's made by one of the best directors, has the best leading actor....and Cate Blanchett!

Classic indy action...Harrision Ford still holds his own...bringing back his past love was refreshing as opposed to pairing him with someone 25 years younger. Story line lacked a bit in depth but the kids will love it. Overall picutre production with special effects very realistic.... not washed up with heavy CGI. GO SEE JUST FOR FUN!

My wife works for a merchandise company, and they have the license for the new Lego Indiana Jones video game, so they got advanced screening privileges. We had a great time! Harrison Ford still kicks butt as Indy, and the action was excellent. I definitely recommend going to see this flick!

I along with many other fans have eagerly awaiting Indy's return for 19 long years! Honestly, this should have happened 10 years ago.But apparently Lucas was busy writing stellar dialogue for Jar Jar Binks. You would think that with such a long wait, this would rival if not surpass the previous 3.Right?Wrong!!The first 3 movies were all epic in scope, shot on location-And the stunts, while outrageous at times, were for the most part plausible as they used old-school stuntwork. However as with the current trend in todays movies,Kingdom follows suite with 90% green screen locale& sets, and totally unrealistic digitized action scenes.Even the animals were CG.I just rolled my eyes when Shiloe started swinging through the trees with digital monkeys.I at no time felt they were in the jungles of South America. As for the story, while aliens are always cool,it does not fit with Indy at all.I can understand Connery's refusal.I really wanted to like this one,but was hugely disappointed! 2 out of 5 DJJ

Fantastic movie! It's 10 years later and Professor Jones, Jr. is forced to take a break and go on vacation. The soviets of 1957 are the arch enemy, especially a psych *****. Teaching the same class for 30+ (?) years can take it's toll. I'm not going to give it away like some folks do in spoiler, but I will tell you it is not of this World. The Soviets' are after the skull(s) as well thinking the last crystal skull will bring enormous power.
Not so, but enough to make a few escapes. No Sean Connery unfortunately (I guess that would have made hime about 80 years old). Karen Allen as Marion Ravenwood back again for this fourth installment to the Jones legacy and I hear another one is coming next yr. Shia LaBeouf her son named Henry III, born mos after their their breakup in "Raiders ... Lost Arc" (1981), the first installment.
Be prepared for giant ants, crumbling skeletons, dart shooting natives and an extremely exciting movie. Crystal Skull beats all previous Jones' movies by far!
