Another poor remake of a Japanese horror flick that leaves you wondering why you actually paid money to be left unsatisfied. Although the movie does provide moments of fright, the ending is far less pleasing than most Americans would have hoped. When the credits started to roll people literally stood up from there seats and said, "No! They can't end the movie like that! It doesn't even make sense! I want my money back."

I honestly have to disagree i really liked this movie [not so much the ending] but i will definately go if theres a second one. I literally screamed one time during the movie but most of the other "scary parts" made me jump a little but after thinking i had to laugh out loud because im thinking ha did that just happen?! Its scary and amusing. Like the beginning with the cat in the pond. The whole movie theater was cracking up and screaming and there were lots of comments out loud! Hahhaa i enjoyed it. Just go check it out =]

I took my 12 year old and 3 of his friends to this movie for his birthday. It was fun and scary for them but I laughed a lot. There were 2 parts of the movie that actually made me jump, but the rest was simply fun spookiness that reminded me of old movies from my childhood. I must say the boys were pretty scared though.... one wouldn't even come out from under his jacket! I'm pretty sure this will not win any awards, but if you like a movie that makes you jump in your seat a bit this will work. I can't say it was really predictable because it did have a couple of unexpected twists, but at the same time it was sooooo unrealistic it was really hard to be truly scared. Another good part is there was only one sexually provocative scene (very minimal) and a couple of curse words, which is very unusual these days. All and all, as good as i expected.

The movie is intense, it makes you sit on the end of your seat, spill your popcorn, grab your friends hands!!! Keeps you wondering what is going to pop out next. The images and graphics were fantastic.
